Bana King is cultivated in Ecuador, the world’s largest exporter of bananas. We set very high standards in the selection of our fruit, choosing only the best. The bananas are harvested while still green and they are carefully inspected by our quality assurance employees before being sorted for export.
ACROSS THE CONTINENTS
We Operate between ships on all continents. The fruit is then transported to ports to be packed in refrigerated ships called reefers. In order to increase shelf life, they are transported at a temperature of 13.3°C, and require careful handling in order to prevent damage. Humidity, ventilation and temperature conditions are also carefully monitored in order to maintain quality.

When the bananas arrive in Albania they are first tested for temperature and fruit maturity. Then the fruit is placed into one of several specially designed ripening rooms. The banana specialist ventilates the room to a consistent humidity and holding temperature. The process takes approximately 5 days. We have some of the latest technology, certified ripening rooms in all of Europe.
